About the Author

C.E. Wallace is a Paraguayan-born poet and musician based in New York. By day, she runs a school for migrant children awaiting reunification with their families in the U.S. By night, she writes, creates, and makes music with her husband and very spoiled cat. Her first book, "Juego de Palabras," is now available in Spain, Mexico, and Colombia from Valparaíso Ediciones.
 
She currently has work published in the Acentos Review, Alebrijes Review and Axon Journal. She also has work in upcoming Kickstarter anthologies- The Hyperion: Tales from Hell from End of the World Productions and The Darker Side of Purity e-zine from Band of Bards Comics.

C.E. Wallace began writing poetry as a teenager, attending the New England Young Writers Conference at Bread Loaf in 2002. Her poetry spans years and experiences and covers topics such as mental health, belonging, romance, and the metaphysical.

C.E. was recently selected to represent Paraguay in The Americas Poetry Festival of New York, which will be held on October 11th - 13th, 2023 at the Cervantes Institute of New York and the Walt Whitman Birthplace Association.
